Conor I've started looking at the dive sites yes, and will look further.

Peter, that would interest me a lot. I won't be in Sligo at the weekend though so I'll let you know when I will be up there to have a look.

nfitzy, the Tramore one I didn't know about, nor Glenbeigh. I'll have a look at those ones too.

Hi Treasa,

One in Glenbeigh very small and mostly burried in sand when i saw it. The one in tramore I only saw for a couple of weeks about 10 years ago. It must have been after a storm and the sand was washed away from it. Haven't seen it since then.

Isn't there the remains of a wooden boat on the north end of Dollymount? It was there last summer anyway, only exposed at low tide. It was only the carcus that was left.

slightly off topic on the off topic but if its for photos of wrecks in water, i believe there is a world war 2 aeroplane that is exposed at low tide on portsalon, north donegal.

You can see some of it on this link Treasa. You would need a very low spring tide to get the best photos of it though.

T

Some abandoned boats on Grand Canal Dock, right beside the Surfdock not as glamorous as some of the other suggestions, but might add to the mix

There is another one near by, only visible at low tide, in the Dodder, the, Liffey side of the bridge by Shelbourne Park dog track.

I know you are a whizz at photoshop so i could get you some stills of the Titanic!
